Privacy Policy

Sudoku Showdown · Last updated 20 October 2026

Sudoku Showdown does not collect your personal data. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no profile, and nothing you do in the game is sent to us. Everything below explains that in more detail, but that sentence is the whole policy.

What stays on your device

The game saves your progress on your iPhone and nowhere else. That includes:

This information never leaves your iPhone. We cannot see it, and we have no servers that could receive it. Deleting the app deletes all of it, permanently — there is no backup held by us to restore from.

What we collect: nothing

As of the date above, the app makes no network requests of its own. It contains no analytics service, no crash reporter, no advertising SDK, and no third-party code that reports anything about you or your device.

We do not collect, store, sell, share, or have access to:

Tracking

The app does not track you. "Tracking" has a specific meaning under Apple's rules: linking data from this app with data from other companies' apps or websites, for advertising or measurement. We do none of it, and because no advertising or analytics code is present, we are not technically able to.

You will not see Apple's "Allow this app to track your activity" prompt, because there is nothing for it to ask about.

Purchases

Purchases in Sudoku Showdown — coin packs, token packs, the Starter Bundle, energy upgrades, and the Remove Ads subscription — are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

We never see your payment details. Your card number, billing address, and Apple Account credentials are handled by Apple and are never transmitted to us. What the app receives from Apple is a confirmation that a specific product was purchased, which it uses to unlock the thing you bought. That confirmation is processed on your device.

Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Sudoku Showdown is rated 9+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all.

The app is not part of Apple's Kids Category.

Advertising

The current version of Sudoku Showdown shows no advertisements. The "Remove Ads" subscription is offered because advertising is planned for a future update; until that update ships, subscribing removes nothing that is currently being shown.

When advertising is introduced, it will be served by a third party that will receive some device information, and that is a genuine change to this policy rather than a detail. Before any such version is released we will update this page, update the app's privacy information on the App Store, and — where required — ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, which you are free to decline without losing access to any part of the game.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability (under the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar laws) apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to send you, correct, or delete.

The game data described at the top of this page is yours and is already in your possession — it is on your iPhone. To erase it, delete the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above changes with it. A change that affects what the app collects will also be reflected in the app's privacy information on its App Store listing, which Apple shows you before you download an update.
