Sudoku Showdown · Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Sudoku Showdown iPhone app. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Sudoku Showdown on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not sell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
Coin packs and hint, undo and reveal token packs are consumable. They are added to your balance when purchased and are used up as you play. Being consumable, they:
The Starter Bundle and the energy cap upgrades are non-consumable. They are bought once, are permanently associated with your Apple Account, and can be restored to a new device.
The Starter Bundle is a limited-time offer. It grants 1000 coins and 10 hint tokens, and is available only during your first 10 days of playing. After that it stops appearing in the shop. If you bought it, it stays yours; if you did not, it cannot be bought later.
Note that the current version of the app does not yet display advertisements — see the Privacy Policy for what this subscription does and does not currently remove.
We cannot issue refunds, because we never receive your payment — Apple does. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides them under its own policies. If something in the app did not work as described, please tell us as well, so we can fix it.
Your progress is stored on your device. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover it. Deleting the app permanently erases your progress, including coins and unspent tokens. Non-consumable purchases can be restored through Apple; the game progress itself cannot.
Please do not modify the app, tamper with purchase verification, or use automated means to acquire currency or items you have not paid for or earned. We may restrict access to the app where we reasonably believe it is being misused in these ways.
Sudoku Showdown is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of this may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it and its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost game progress. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the app fails to conform to a warranty may be directed to Apple, which may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above will change, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you greater rights, in which case those apply.
